This is a fabulous opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for, and an expertise in, ecommerce, digital and social media marketing!  Working for our well-known FMCG client, the Digital Marketing Manager will continue to develop this newly created position and champion big grocery brands online – guiding the business through online best practice and helping them to stay ahead of the game and super competitive, specifically within the ecommerce space. This role will best suit someone hungry to make a difference; someone with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders and retailers (most notably grocery retailers, but also Ocado and Amazon), and someone able to activate their ideas and act upon results.  Effectively, the Digital Marketing Manager is going to be responsible for building and delivering the online trading strategy within an FMCG grocery environment.

It is an absolute must to have a strong understanding of the online shopper and online path to purchase, and ecommerce and digital marketing experience. We need someone able to analyse data and turn it into action, as well as lots of examples of marketing campaigns and campaign management. Passion for ecommerce and digital marketing is important because we want this person focussing on technology trends, helping the business evolve in this space. The Digital Marketing Manager will be the expert in this area for the business, so it’s a high focus role! There will be x1 direct report.

FMCG experience would be fantastic but we are open minded and consumer products experience or someone agency side would also be welcomed.
