Put your consumer goods and product marketing skills to good use in this lovely role working on a premium consumer brand in the arts and crafts sector.

 

Purpose of Job:

Manage the development and introduction of new products to grow the portfolio
Assist with management of the product portfolio strategy and stock turn to maximise efficiency of the inventory and impact on working capital
Provide market insights, sales analysis and financial reporting including support for brand communications
Principal Accountabilities & Key Tasks:

Portfolio management and product road maps for NPD
Management of specific NPD introductions, both of internally manufactured and finished goods
Assist with launch plans, working closely with the sales and marketing teams
Work with other Product Managers to guide the Gate Process, including financial analysis of product costs and margins for new and existing products
Develop pricing across multiple channels and model forecasts and sales for NPD
Build, track and maintain sales forecasts of NPD together with the sales team
Create technical specifications – detailed information for manufacturing and sourcing requirements
Develop customer exclusive products
Maintain and update product data, including websites and data sheets
Work collaboratively with the broader marketing team to assist them in the development of collateral including photography, manuals, packaging, merchandising and online assets
Monitor and track quality issues and manage consumer feedback in relation to product reviews
Develop competitor & market research, performance, trend analysis and evaluation, gap analysis and report actionable insights
Own packaging developments for new and existing product

Knowledge & Experience:

Educated to degree level
Experience working in Product Marketing
Strong commercial knowledge and aptitude
Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Good organisation and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail
Good communication and presentation skills
Adaptable and flexible
Self-starter and team player
Flexibility to travel within in the UK and overseas as require
