A deep understanding of web analytics and digital data is key for this exciting new role in the consumer/customer insight & analytics team of an incredibly dynamic technology-led success story in the healthcare sector, a business that has grown to over 1,000 people since 1998, supplying research tools and equipment to scientists in commercial and academic centres across the world from offices in the UK, US, China and Japan. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for delivering insight to help the business evolve and improve its digital platforms, delivering great experiences for its wide range of customers across the world – helping them with technical information and enabling them to buy products on-line with the optimum consumer journey.

Working in a team of market research, market intelligence, data analyst and data scientist specialists, working together to solve novel and knotty questions, this is a superb opportunity to show your analytical flair and build your career in a true rapid growth environment with great promotional prospects.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing analysis and reporting across ad-hoc projects and ‘business as usual’ for digital platforms.
  • Creating analytics dashboards using data from Google Analytics and other analytics platforms.
  • Setting up and configuring analytics platforms and applying the appropriate analytics platform to consume and present the data.
  • Working with IT teams to prioritise and secure implementation of analytics requirements.
  • Providing advice and information based on analytics to other members of the organization; first port of call for analytics-related queries.
  • Delivering Google Analytics training.
  • Identifying key metrics that drive the business to constantly improve the customer experience.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for site improvements and create business case with profit impacts.

Our Ideal Candidate
Educated to degree level ideally in Statistics or Maths and/or with extensive digital analytics training, you have solid experience working as a Digital Analyst, Web Analytics Manager or similar role and are an expert user of web analytics and data analysis. Ideally, you will be able to hand-code SQL with some experience of ETL; you will also have a deep understanding of website delivery and JavaScript trackers and advanced MS Excel skills too.

Creative, innovative and ambitious, you will have a keen attention to detail, able to solve business problems with strong analytical thinker and a willingness to learn new techniques and approaches.
