Senior Innovation Consultant
£50K-70K + Bonus + Benefits Package

With a relentless focus on delivering projects and ‘stand-out’ innovation that bring real commercial growth to clients, this is an opportunity for someone to think strategically about big picture ideas and get stuck into the detail of making innovation happen and delivering maximum impact.
Working on projects including Strategic Innovation; Insight, Idea Generation, Brand Planning, Strategic Technology Development and Training and Organisational Development, you’ll work closely with major clients across different industries – responding to briefs, thinking creatively, talking to consumers, organising and facilitating workshops and creative sessions and building compelling new concepts to drive growth. At this level, you will also support the business development efforts of the team, identifying potential projects and working collaboratively to achieve group and individual targets.
Our Ideal Candidate
With a minimum of 3-5 years’ robust experience gained in a consulting or agency environment, perhaps with client-side, planning or insight experience too, you’ll have the proven skills to create opportunity platforms, insights and concepts that meet client briefs. This will almost certainly include specific experience of qualitative, ethnographic or design research and facilitation and/or moderation too. An understanding of quant data – interpreting and presenting findings – would also be valuable.
A strong analytical thinker and problem solver, you’ll enjoy working across a range of briefs in what is an entrepreneurial and hands-on culture. You will experience of innovation and concept development projects, thinking creatively around issues and being on top of market and consumer trends and developments. Strong project management skills are of course essential, as is the ability to inspire those around you, work under pressure to tight deadlines and truly enjoy your work! A willingness to travel regularly is important, mainly within Europe but possibly to Asia and North America too.
